  • Dr. Li Yi

    Professor, Breast Center; Department of Molecular & Cellular Biology; Department of Molecular Virology & Microbiology, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX US

    Dr. Li completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s studies in the Department of Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine at Jiangsu Agricultural College (now part of Yangzhou University). In 1990, Li moved to the United States and worked for one year as a visiting scholar at the USDA Avian Diseases and Oncology Laboratory, East Lansing, Michigan. In 1991, he started his doctoral studies in the Department of Microbiology at Michigan State University and obtained his PhD in 1996.

  • Dr. Zhang Zuofeng

    Distinguished Professor, Associate Dean for Research, UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, US

    Dr. Zhang studied at Yangzhou Medical College (now part of Yangzhou University) in the 1970s. Zhang is a Professor of Epidemiology, Co-Director of the UCLA Center for Environment Genomics, Director of Molecular Epidemiology Training Program, and Scientific Director of UCLA Central Tumor Registry. He has been a Fellow of the American College of Epidemiology (ACE) since 1999 and he served as Member of the Board of Directors of the American College of Epidemiology from 2002 to 2005.

  • Dr. Tang Ning

    Senior Lecturer in Sociology, Sheffield Hallam University, UK

    Tang earned her Bachelor's degree in English Education from Yangzhou Teachers College (now part of Yangzhou University) in 1980, and started her career as a faculty member in the Department of Foreign Languages at the same university.

  • Professor Zhang Han

    Department of Neurobiology & Anatomy, McGovern Medical School, Texas Medical Center, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), US

    Between 1977 and 1980, Zhang studied at Yangzhou Medical College (now part of Yangzhou University) where he started his career as an instructor of Anatomy upon graduation until 1992. Zhang completed a postdoctoral training in John Byrne and Leonard Cleary Department of Neurobiology and Anatomy, McGovern Medical School (formerly The University of Texas Medical School at Houston) , and started a Research Fellow job at McGovern Medical School between 1993 and 2001.

  • Dr. Zhou Huaijun

    Professor and Chancellor’s Fellow, Director of USAID Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Genomics to Improve Poultry, Department of Animal Science, UC Davis, US

    Huaijun Zhou earned his Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, and his Master's degree in Animal Breeding and Genetics from Yangzhou University. Zhou earned his Master’s degree in Bioinformatics and Computational, and his Ph.D. in Immunogenetics and Molecular Genetics from Iowa State University. Dr. Zhou has published a total of 134 peer-reviewed papers, five book chapters and more than 240 peer-reviewed abstract and/or meeting proceedings.

  • Dr. Guo Yubao

    Professor, Chair for Mathematics of Information Processing, RWTH Aachen University, Germany

    Guo earned his Bachelor’s degree from Yangzhou Teachers College (now part of Yangzhou University) in 1982. Dr. Guo became a professor of Mathematics at RWTH Aachen University in 1999. Much of Guo's research over the years has focused on the fields of graph theory, discrete programming and its calculation methods, and computational complexity.

  • Dr. Yin Jianjun

    Professor of Education in the Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education, Jackson State University, US

    Yin earned his Bachelor's degree in English Education from Yangzhou Teachers College (now part of Yangzhou University) in 1982. Dr. Yin has extensive experiences and expertise working with both pre-service and in-service teachers, elementary and middle school students and their parents.

  • Dr. Li Baoqin

    Professor, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Florida International University, US

    Li earned his Bachelor's degree from Yangzhou Teachers College (now part of Yangzhou University) in 1982.Li earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of Maryland at College Park. Much of Li's research over the years has focused on the fields of Several Complex Variables, related problems in Harmonic Analysis, Partial Differential, Equations, and Number Theory. Professor Li is a reviewer for Mathematical Reviews, and an editor for International Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Science and Journal of Complex Analysis.
