Dr. Li Baoqin

Li earned his Bachelor's degree from Yangzhou Teachers College (now part of Yangzhou University) in 1982.
Li earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of Maryland at College Park. Much of Li's research over the years has focused on the fields of Several Complex Variables, related problems in Harmonic Analysis, Partial Differential, Equations, and Number Theory. Professor Li is a reviewer for Mathematical Reviews, and an editor for International Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Science and Journal of Complex Analysis. He served as Chairman of the Department of Math & Stat, FIU between 2009 and 2013, and co-organizer of the Special Session on “Recent Advances in Complex and Harmonic Analysis” in the 106th Annual Meeting of the American Mathematical Society in 2000. He served on a National Science Foundation Panel, refereed research papers and books for over 30 mathematical research journals and publishers, including Cambridge University Press, Kluwer Academic Publishers, Springer-Verlag, the Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society, the Transactions of the American Mathematical Society, Advances in Mathematics, etc., and gave numerous invited talks at international and national conferences, and university seminars and colloquia in Canada, China, Germany, Japan.
