Recently, Dr. Zhu Rongmei, a young faculty member from the School of Chemistry and Materials Science at our university, published a research paper titled“Synergistic Ni-Co Metal Nodes in a Conjugated MOF-Modified Separator for High-Performance Lithium-Sulfur Batteries”in the prestigious journalAdvanced Science. This research significantly enhances the overall performance of lithium-sulfur batteries by constructing a conductive Metal-Organic Framework (MOF) material featuring in-plane d–π conjugation and a bimetallic synergistic effect. The study provides a novel strategy for addressing key challenges hindering the practical application of this type of battery.
