On November 16, Clarivate Analytics officially released the list of 2022 Highly Cited Researchers, where the world’s top scientists were selected. A total of 1169 researchers from China’s mainland were recognized by the list.

Three YZU professors are on the list. They are Prof. Liu Jun (Agricultural Sciences) from School of Food Science and Engineering, Prof. Pang Huan (Materials Science) and Prof. Xue Huaiguo (Cross-Field) from School of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering.

The selection methodology for highly cited researchers is developed by bibliometric experts and data scientists at the Clarivate Analytics Institute for Scientific Information (ISI), which is based on Web of Science citation data and analysis.
