On September 23, a review on the direct application of proteins in batteries co-authored by Associate Professor Wang Tianyi and Associate Professor Yao Hang from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Professor Wang Guoxiu and Dr. Sun Bing from the University of Technology Sydney was published in the journal Advanced Energy Materials.
To study the working mechanism of proteins in batteries, the authors stayed focused on the quaternary structure of proteins, the effects of protein structure transitions, and different functional groups on the performance improvement of batteries, predictions and suggestions on the future development trends of proteins in batteries.
This paper is thought to be constructive to the research and development of biomimetic intelligent molecules.
