On January 7^th, Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government announced the winners of the 2020 Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Award. Seven projects of Yangzhou University won the awards, including two first prizes, one second prize and four third prizes.

Professor Chen Guohong at College of Animal Science & Technology was awarded the first prize for the research project of "Evaluation of chicken genetic resources, germplasm innovation and industrial application". The project of "Key technology and application of permeable storage and water purification pavement" led by Professor Kang Aihong at College of Civil Science and Engineering won the second prize. Professor Xu Ke at the Agricultural College, as the second participant won the first prize in the research project "Key technologies in applications of high-yield and efficient farming of rice- wheat double cropping".
