Recently，the academic symposium titled “Review and Outlook of the Security Situation in the Red Sea Region (2025)”was successfully held at the China-Africa Institute. The event was jointly organized by the China-Africa Institute and the Gulf Studies Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), and co-organized by the Red Sea Region Studies Center of Yangzhou University, along with the Security Studies Office of the China-Africa Institute and the Innovation Project Team on “Political Development in West Asia and Africa”of the Institute of West Asian and African Studies, CASS.
