Institutes of Agricultural Science and Technology Development of Yangzhou Universityhas recently joined the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Livestock Environmental Assessment and Performance (LEAP) Partnership. This makes the university a key research force in China’s agricultural sector participating in this international organization.

The FAO LEAP Partnership is the UN’s sole international body focused on livestock-related issues. It is dedicated to promoting the green transformation of livestock production and advancing global food sustainability through unified methodologies, indicators, and data-driven solutions.
