On December 18, Professor She Jiahan from the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine atthe University of Hong Kong and his delegation visitedYangzhou University. Ding Jianning,Secretaryof CPC Yangzhou University Committeemet with the guests, and Vice Presidents Gong Weijuan and Cai Yiwei attended the event.

Ding Jianning extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation and introducedYangzhou University's history, disciplinary strengths, and exchanges with higher education institutions in Hong Kong. He emphasizedYangzhou University has always placed great importance on cooperation with top Asian universities such as The University of Hong Kong. He expressed hope that both sides would deepen their collaboration beyond short-term faculty and student exchanges, focusing on talent cultivation and research collaboration in the fields of life sciences and cultural communication to achieve more substantive and in-depth cooperation.

She Jiahan stated his hope for enhanced mutual understanding and joint efforts to advance the co-establishment of the“Yangzhou University Affiliated Subei People’s Hospital – Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong Key Laboratory of Regenerative Medicine.”
