From August 15 to 18,the 11th China Undergraduate Medical Innovation Tournament & the Belt and Road International Competition Finals concluded successfully at Shandong University. The finals brought together over 820 teams from more than 201 universities across 10+ countries, with participation from over 4,000 faculty and students, as well as more than 200 guests and experts, making it the largest edition in the competition’s history in terms of scale and attendance. 5 teams from YZU Health Science Center secured an impressive haul of 1 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze medals across all five main competition tracks with their solid professional foundation, unique innovative perspectives, and excellent on-site team performance. Notably, the gold-winning team received the Best Academic Award, marking the best historical achievement for YZU at this competition.
