On May 8，the delegation led by Liu Jun，Rector of City University of Macau & Robert Chan Chon Pat, Pro-Rector of City U visited Yangzhou University.YZU President Liu Qiaoquan met with the delegation with Vice President Cai Yingwei in reception.

Liu Qiaoquan welcomed the delegation and briefly introduced the remarkable achievements of YZU, and the progress of cooperation and exchanges between the two universities in recent years. Liu Qiaoquan put forward that more efforts should be made in the innovation of talent education models, joint education of interdisciplinary dual degrees, cooperation in scientific research, studies on comprehensive health and relationship between China and Portuguese-speaking countries, and the organization of cultural exchange activities aiming at cultural inheritance & exchanges.

Liu Jun expressed his willingness to make every effort in promoting pragmatic cooperation through an innovative model in talent education, scientific research, academic exchange, etc., targeting the creation of a new education ecosystem with mutual benefits and win-win results.

During this visit,both sides held a postgraduate enrollment session of City University of Macau titled “Global Footprint Future Blueprint”.

Representatives from President Office, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao Affairs Office, School of Marxism were in attendance.
