On December 26, YZU held the 2025 Overseas Student New Year Gala. Vice President Han Jiedelivered a speech at the gala.

Han Jie pointed out that progress had been made in YZU development as well as overseas students management in the past year. He also put forward that more efforts would be made in supporting the policy of higher education opening-up at a higher level, greatly contributing to the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.

Over 100 Chinese and overseas students from Pakistan, Benin, Russia, Kazakhstan, the United States, Myanmar, Morocco, Bangladesh, Sierra Leone, India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Zambia participated in the performance.

Representatives of YZU relevant departments & offices, faculty members of College for Overseas Education, and nearly 1,000 overseas students were in attendance.
