From November 30 to December 1, YZU hosted 2024 International Symposium on Ruminants’ Welfare and Sustainable Production. Vice President Gong Weijuan attended the symposium.Gong Weijuan briefly introduced the developments of YZU, and the progress made in the discipline of Animal Science. She expressed her willingness to deepen cooperation with other participants for the purpose of achieving win-win results, having animal husbandry become welfare-oriented and more efficient. Themed by “Positive Welfare and Healthy Breeding”, the symposium provided special topics of welfare-oriented farming, healthy farming, and sustainable farming. Over 100 experts and scholars from domestic and international institutions attended the symposium.
