On August 5, Mamdouh Moawad Ali Hassan, Vice President of the Egypt National Research Center, led a delegation to visit Yangzhou University (YZU). President Ding Jianning met with guests, and Vice-President Han Jie participated in the meeting.

Ding Jianning pointed out that YZU has always attached great importance to cooperation and exchanges with Egypt, especially with the Egypt National Research Center. He hoped that the two sides will deepen the cooperation and strengthen strategic docking; strengthen cooperation in the fields of energy, food and information technology; enhance international industry-university-research cooperation; continue to expand the exchange of young scholars and make positive contributions to deepening the cultural exchanges between China and Egypt.

Mamdouh Moawad Ali Hassan suggested that he would actively promote the cooperation between the two sides in scientific and technological exchanges, joint training of talents, and joint scientific research.

The heads of President Office, Science and Technology Office, International Office, College of Animal Science and Technology, and College for Overseas Education participated in the activities.
