From May 26 to June 4, Zhou Rujun, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Yangzhou University Committee, led a delegation to New Orleans, USA to attend the 76th Annual Conference of National Association of Foreign Student Affairs (NAFSA), and to Mexico to participate in the Sino-Mexican Higher Education Exchange Meeting.

As one of the representatives of “Study in China”exhibitor group in the International Education Pavilion at the NAFSA Annual Conference in the US, YZU presented its overview of the construction of academic disciplines and specialties, the situation of international cooperation and exchange, international student education and so on. The delegation carried out in-depth and solid exchanges and negotiations with over ten universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Indonesia and other countries.

At the Sino-Mexican Higher Education Exchange Meeting, Zhou Rujun introduced YZU’s history and the characteristics of disciplines and specialties to Zhang Run, Chinese Ambassador to Mexico. The delegation of YZU and the participating universities of the Mexico carried out in-depth exchanges and negotiations, thus reaching the consensus for further cooperation with high-level universities and scientific research institutions.

Heads of the Party Office and the International Office accompanied the visit and attended related activities.
