From December 10 to 12,Qiu Qingfeng,the Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Yangzhou University , led a team to Hong Kong to attend the Annual Meeting of the Jiangsu-Hong Kong-Macao University Allianceand the President Forum. Besides, the delegation also carried out amiable talks with Hong Kong Baptist University, the University of Hong Kong and the Education University of Hong Kong.
Sponsored by the Jiangsu-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance, this forum thoroughly probed into the blueprint for cooperation among universities in Jiangsu, HongKong and Macao in talent cultivation and innovative technology research. As a founding member of the alliance,Yangzhou University has contributed greatly to its construction and growth. Furthermore, Yangzhou University will seize this opportunity to better work for thealliance, and to promote the high-quality progressof cooperation and exchanges with universities in Hong Kong and Macao.
During the period, the delegation also visitedHong Kong Baptist University, the University of Hong Kong and the Education University of Hong Kong. They discussed topics on the advanced experience in modern university governance, establishment of a sound institutional mechanisminthe university, and comprehensively strengthening interschool partnership. In addition, the delegation has achieved a high degree of consensus on the innovation of the mode of cooperation, the integration of superior resources, and expanding the breadth and depth of cooperation, etc.with these higher institutions.
