On November 27 and 28, Yangzhou University held the 2023 International Conference on Aerodynamics of Offshore Wind Energy Systems and Wakes.Vice President Gong Weijuan attended the conference and made a speech.

At the conference, experts and scholars from universities including Technical University of Denmark and University of Calgary delivered keynote speeches on the topics of "Offshore Wind and Wave Conditions", "Wind Turbine Aerodynamics and Aeroacoustics", "Wind Farm Weak Aerodynamics" and so on. Participating faculties and students shared their research findings and carried out academic exchanges on the topic of "Aeroelastic and Wake Motion of Offshore Wind Power in Wind Power Generation System".

Over 100 experts and scholars from universities and research institutes at home and abroad such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Harbin Institute of Technology and Chinese Academy of Sciences turned up at the meeting. Besides, representatives from Office of Academic Discipline Development, Science and Technology Office, International Office, College of Electrical, Energy and Power Engineering also attended the event.
