On October 30, the 2023 Jiangsu International Education Week on the Cooperation and Integration of Industry, Education, Research and Application sponsored by the Provincial Department of Education inaugurated in Nanjing. President Ding Jianning, on behalf of Yangzhou University, was present at the opening ceremony and signed international industry-education-research-application cooperation agreements with representatives from Seoul National University, Sungkyunkwan University, Nanyang Technological University as well as Chinese and overseas enterprises. Vice President Han Jie also attended the ceremony and unveiled the nameplate with delegates of Sungkyunkwan University, Kangwon National University and Nanjing Tongrentang.

During this week, Yangzhou university has successively held key events, that is, the 2023 Conference on China-ROK University International Cooperation and Integration of industry, education, research and applicationand the Jiangsu-ROK Universities Cooperation Alliance founding assembly, the Yangzhou session on 2023 Jiangsu International Education Week on the Cooperation and Integration of industry, education, research and application. In addition, we also dispatched foreign experts and leaders of units to participate in the special activities of cooperation and integration of industry, education, research and application in intelligent manufacturing of Jiangsu-UK High-level University Alliance, enabling them to deliver panel reports and keynote speeches respectively.

On October 31, we jointly hosted the 2023 Conference on China-ROK University International Cooperation and Integration of industry, education, research and applicationand the Jiangsu-ROK Universities Cooperation Alliance founding assembly with Jiangnan University. Han Jie appeared at the event and delivered a speech at the president's roundtable forum. After that, the head of experimental farm (Kangyuan Dairy Company) exchanged views on the cooperation and integration of industry, education, research and application at the forum.

On November 1, we organized the Yangzhou session on 2023 Jiangsu International Education Week on the Cooperation and Integration of industry, education, research and application at the Lotus Pool Campus. At this session, Han Jie awarded the letters of appointment for professors from Seoul National University, Sungkyunkwan University, Jeonbuk National University, Kangwon University and Nanyang Technological University to jointly cultivate doctoral students worldwide. Three international industry-education-research-application cooperation platforms, that is, “Joint Laboratory of Intelligent Sensing and Fusion Application”, “International Joint Laboratory of Fusion Application of New Materials” and “International Joint Laboratory of Medicine-Food Homologous Industry”, signed cooperation agreements and were inaugurated. During the session, we also launched three international industry-education-research-application activities, including artificial intelligence and intelligent systems, energy-chemical-biological materials, medicine-food homologous ndustry and senile disease prevention and control. Nearly 200 people attended the event involving representatives of 9 Korean universities including Seoul National University and Sungkyunkwan University, as well as that of 6 domestic universities including Nanjing University and China Pharmaceutical University, and that of domestic and foreign enterprises including Korea Satellite Technology Research Center, Korea Advanced Radio Technology Company and Nanjing Tongrentang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., in addition to the leaders of departments and colleges of the university.
