2022 Symposium on Animal Diseases and Zoonosis sponsored by Jiangsu Collaborative Innovation Center for Prevention and Control of Major Animal Diseases and Zoonoses was held in YZU from November 9th to 10th. Prof. Jiao Xin’an, Secretary of CPC Yangzhou University Committee, Director of Jiangsu Collaborative Innovation Center for Prevention and Control of Major Animal Diseases and Zoonoses, attended the Symposium and delivered an opening speech.

More than 20 experts from the US, the UK, Portugal, Denmark, Australia, Turkey, ROK, Pakistan, and China made keynote speeches on the topics of inhibition of bacterial communication in preventing zoonotic disease, veterinary hygiene and public health against the background of COVID-19 outbreak. The Symposium was held in hybrid modality, with a record over 10,000 views.

YZU Science and Technology Office, International Office, and College of Veterinary Medicine attended the Symposium.
