On January 27th, the Ministry of Education officially announced the list of winners of the prestigious National Award "Huang Danian Type Teacher Team". The team of Technological Innovations in Efficient & High-yielding Rice Farming led by Zhang Hongcheng, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering was successfully included. This is the second time that Yangzhou University has won this national award, following its first success in 2018.

The Ministry of Education launched the National University Huang Danian Type Teacher Team Program in 2017, aiming to guide all teachers to continuously help team building in forming a long-term mechanism, and to promote esteem for the model while striving for advancement to become the norm for the state education system.
