2021 marks the 40th year since China started the nationwide tree-planting campaign. YZU held a tree planting activity on Yang Zi Jin Campus on March 12th. This year’s theme is “Tree planting and landscaping for beautiful campus”.

Professor Yao Guanxin, Secretary of the CPC Yangzhou University Committee, and Professor Jiao Xin'an, President of Yangzhou University joined more than 100 staff and students to plant trees. The activity was also attended by other university leaders including Huang Jianye, Hong Tao, Chen Yaping, Yu Hongliang, Liu Qiaoquan.

In combination with the overall greening plan of Yang Zi Jin campus, more than 140 cherry-apple trees and Hibiscus syriacus were planted.
