Yangzhou University Professor Liu Yurong has been ranked among most cited researchers in the world, according to Highly Cited Researchers 2018, compiled annually by Clarivate Researchers 2018.

Working in the areas of Computer Science and Computer Engineering, Liu's election granted Yangzhou University the 43^rd place among universities in China and the 6^th in Jiangsu Province in terms of candidates.

Now in its fifth year, the 'Highly Cited Researchers' listing identifies influential researchers who are leading the way in solving the world's biggest challenges.
