On November 20th, the 2018 Symposium on Cosmology and Particle Astrophysics sponsored by the College of Physical Science and Technology of YZU officially convened. Nearly 150 experts and scholars from China, USA, Canada, Spain, South Korea, Japan, Greece, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, India, Iran attended the meeting to inquire into gravitational wave.

Professor Yao Guanxin emphasized, “I believe this symposium will bring us the latest achievements and greatly inspire international collaboration, posing as a vital platform for related disciplinary development of Yangzhou University as well as the development of physics at large.”

In the three-day symposium, experts and scholars had deep and profound discussions on the latest issues in cosmology and particle astrophysics.

CosPA boasts a proud history of 16 years. It has become the most important symposium in this field.
