On November 20^th, the College of Animal Science and Technology held the commemoration for Mr. Feng Huanwen's 120th birthday.

Mr. Feng, the first president of Subei Agricultural College, was a famous small animal expert and educator of modern apiculture. He was the first to promote apiculture education and popularize new beekeeping technology in China, enjoyed the lofty reputation and prestige among domestic and foreign apiculturists, and was the founder of apiculture education in our country.

Professor Yao Guanxin encouraged teachers and students to conscientiously carry forward Mr. Feng Huanwen's noble character of being patriotic and dedicated as well as strive to contribute to the construction of a high-level research university.
